Today we celebrate 12 years since we commenced trading back in 2012!
Time passes by so quickly and looking back so much has happened during these 12 years in business.
We would like to thank all our customers old and new who have supported us on this journey up to this point. We rely on the support of all our customers, we are a local independent business and the support of the local community supporting local is what makes us survive and keep trading.
We really look forward to continue offering our service to all going forward!
11 Years in Business!
Today is our 11th year anniversary since we began trading! We would like to thank all our customers for all your support and helping us stay in business, for this we are very grateful and thankful. 10th YEAR ANNIVERSARY!
Today marks our 10th year anniversary since we began trading! 10 YEARS, where has that time gone! We would not have succeeded nor still be here today without the help and support of local people and our customers, for this we are very grateful and thankful. The past two years have been very challenging, however we knew that we had to carry on and get past this unprecedented time and look forward to the end of this pandemic. We have had so much appreciation and support, not just during the pandemic, but from the first day we started trading 10 years ago, that day will be a day we will always remember and never regret. We look forward to many more years of successful trading!
Cartridge Depot are Gold Winners at the SME Luton & Bedfordshire Business Awards 2020/21!
We are both proud and excited to announce that we were Gold winners in The Green Award category at the SME Luton & Bedfordshire Business Awards 2020/21! This award represents that our business has and is reducing or removing the harmful impact that products and/or services have on the environment. In our case it shows how hard we have worked to help save all the empty cartridges that come through our doors from ending up in landfill, instead they are sent away for recycling.
We were also finalists in this year’s Positive Impact award which represented how businesses have changed the products or services they produced to benefit a crisis.
The awards ceremony took place on Tuesday 29th June 2021 at the Bedford Corn Exchange, it was a surreal experience, not only for the fact of being finalists and winning, but also just to be out at a venue sitting at a table and meeting new people and businesses, this is something that many of us are not used to anymore after such a tough year for everyone! It was great to see so many businesses there, especially after so many businesses have struggled through the pandemic, it was nice to have a positive feel in the air when talking to business owners.
As Gold winners in The Green Award category at the SME Luton & Bedfordshire Business Awards 2020/21, this automatically puts us in the finals of the same category at SME National Business Awards 2020/21 which will be held at Wembley on Wednesday 28th July 2021! We will have our fingers crossed for this, we can’t believe that a small family run independent business like us has made it to the National awards final!
We are so grateful for all the recognition we have had showing the work we put in to running our business. As always we would like to thank all of our customers and people that have supported us over the years, without your help and support a business like ours would not have survived!

Today marks our 9th year anniversary since we began trading! WOW, where has that time gone! This year we really want to thank all that have supported us during the pandemic and while our shop has had to close, like every year we are so grateful to still be trading, without the support of our customers and local community we would not be trading today. Thank you to all our customers, as always we look forward to many more years trading and offering our services!

CARTRIDGE DEPOT STOP OVER 30,000 PRINTER CARTRIDGES FROM GOING TO LANDFILL!
Guy and Vincenza Ciampa at Cartridge Depot based in Bedford Town centre are celebrating the fact that since they opened their doors in 2012 they have recycled over 30,000 printer cartridges and prevented them from going to landfill! This has been achieved by the help of local Customers, Businesses, Schools, Charities and not-profit organisations dropping off or arranging collections of their empty or no longer required printer cartridges. Cartridge Depot has now been trading for over 7 years so it works out to be just over 4000 cartridges per year being recycled!
Business partner Guy Ciampa says “We believe being able to offer a free printer cartridge recycling service is so important. We sell these products to our customers so we really want to be able to continue our service after the cartridges reach the end of their life and stop them going into landfill. We know it can be difficult to find places to recycle empty printer cartridges which is why we try to make it as simple as possible for people who want to recycle with us. If you have any empty cartridges you would like to recycle just contact us to see how we can help.
Business partner Vincenza Ciampa says “Studies show that over 350 million cartridges are dumped and put into landfill each year. The fact that it can take anything between 450 to 1000 years for cartridges to decompose is staggering. We are always looking to increase the figure of cartridges we send for recycling as we know our environment will benefit from this, so we ask all Local People, Businesses and Organisations to join us in recycling empty printer cartridges. You do not even need to be a customer or buy anything from us, it is free, and actually in some cases you may be able to earn yourself a bit of extra money”
Now, more than ever is the time to be aware of our actions when it comes to our waste disposal. The whole world is already beginning to see the effects of climate change and recycling empty printer cartridges will in part help future generations. So next time you have an empty cartridge please think and rather than throwing it in the bin, help Cartridge Depot continue their good work by popping in and recycling yours. If you have a large quantity of cartridges and need them collected contact Cartridge Depot to find out how they can help.
